With a workload of 390 hours, linked to the Laboratory of Embryology and Genetics at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), laboratory and field activities were performed, and the monitoring of research activities in the area of nutrition and animal reproduction and animal production activities focused on horse breeding. The use of reproductive biotechnologies such as artificial insemination (AI), embryo transfer (ET), pregnancy diagnosis (GD) through ultrasound, semen collection and cryopreservation were used in large volume, besides the andrological examination of stallions, gynecological evaluation of mares affected by reproductive pathologies, endometritis, uterine cysts, ovarian hematoma and persistent anovulatory follicle. The sanitary control of the herd and the nutritional management of reproductive females and stallions were also performed and proved to be of great importance to increase reproductive rates.
