Resumo:
The Youth and Adult Education-EJA is characterized as a teaching mode with purpose and specific educational objectives designed to meet a specific audience of young students and adults with a lag of education and mismatch of grade / age. Today there are many concerns about the implementation of theories and practices in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA), that seek to address the learning difficulties that students present. In schools where it is offered at EJA modality, it is clear the difficulties faced by the school administration to motivate and ensure the permanence of these students throughout study period. His quest requires of education systems organizational and methodological answers differentiated its incorporation into the schooling process, which will ensure quality learning. It is vital to train educational personnel in the conscious exercise in the use of skills and abilities that requires a process of EJA educators training marked by the intention to contribute, assist in the process of social change and social transformation through the various areas the knowledge to make up the curriculum of Youth and Adult Education. Given this context this field research of this study was carried out in the State School Prof. João Alves Batista in Araguaína / TO, aiming to identify and analyze the pedagogical educational practices in the Youth and Adult Education and thus understand the specificities and challenges in this school. Through data collection and literature review highlights the need for educators to be in constant training to meet the aspirations of an education that is proposed to meet the needs of this audience, using methodological and formative processes of educators and functions school in the imagination of elementary education of EJA, in effectively transforming education.
