It was from August 15th to October 27th, 2022, with a total of 390 hours. This internship was under the supervision of the Ph.D. Leandro Guimarães Franco and with the guidance of Ph.D. Alberto Yin Junior. The following report has a description of the place, the internship routine, and the quantified summary of the activities made in the anesthesiology and emergency area of HV/UFG. During this internship, an anesthetic procedure of locoregional anesthesia was followed in a Boxer dog diagnosed with recurrent chronic otitis, having a procedure of ablation of the vertical ear conduct as a treatment. The technique of locoregional anesthesia consisted of the block of the auriculotemporal nerves and the biggest auricular with the local anesthesia called bupivacaína. The patient had a good response to the block, not being necessary analgesic supplementation either intraoperatively or in the immediate postoperatively stage. Thus, the following work is a report about the locoregional anesthesia employed in the dog that had the ablation of the vertical ear conduct associated with the literature review about the topic. O estágio curricular obrigatório foi inteiramente realizado no Hospital Veterinário da Escola de Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade Federal de Goiás (HV/EVZ/UFG), exclusivamente na área de Anestesiologia e Emergência Veterinária, no período de 15 de agosto a 27 de outubro do ano de 2022, totalizando 390 horas. O estágio esteve sob a supervisão do professor Dr. Leandro Guimarães Franco e orientação do professor Dr. Alberto Yim Junior. O presente relatório contém a descrição do local e da rotina de estágio e o resumo quantificado das atividades realizadas no setor de Anestesiologia e Emergência do HV/UFG. Durante o estágio foi acompanhado um procedimento anestésico de anestesia locorregional em uma cadela da raça boxer, com diagnóstico definitivo de otite crônica recidivante, que foi submetida ao procedimento de ablação do conduto auditivo vertical como tratamento. A técnica da anestesia locorregional consistiu no bloqueio dos nervos auriculotemporal e auricular maior com o anestésico local bupivacaína. O paciente apresentou boa resposta ao bloqueio, não necessitando de suplementação analgésica no transoperatório nem no pós operatório imediato.
