The methodological procedures used were as follows: site visit the fair, open dialogue with the market traders, literature, field research based on the research of socio-cultural practices of quantities and measures commonly used by market traders interrelating them with measurement systems standard International Unit System (SI). To that end, we try to elucidate the research question: What are the units of measurement commonly used by market traders of the municipal market Araguaína? For job enrichment, it took some readings for the purpose of better understanding, as D'Ambrosio (2005), Mendes; Farias (2014) among others. This work aims to show the units of measure used by stallholders from the perspective of Ethnomatematics, once we understand the fairs is not only a place of interaction between customers and merchants, but also by promoting an important environment that can be used for the teaching and learning of mathematics. Esse trabalho, resulta das investigações realizadas na feira livre do Mercado Municipal de Araguaína através de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa etnográfica. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram os seguintes: visita ao local da feira, diálogo aberto com os feirantes, levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisas de campo tendo por base a investigação das práticas socioculturais das grandezas e medidas mais utilizadas pelos feirantes interrelacionando-as com os sistemas de medidas padrão Sistema Internacional de Unidade (SI). Nesse intuito, tentamos elucidar a questão de pesquisa: Quais são as unidades de medidas mais usadas pelos feirantes do mercado municipal de Araguaína? Para enriquecimento do trabalho, foram necessárias algumas leituras para a fim de melhor compreensão, como: D’Ambrósio (2005), Mendes; Farias (2014) entre outros. Esse trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar as unidades de medidas usadas pelos feirantes numa perspectiva da Etnomatemática, uma vez que compreendemos as feiras livres não é somente um local de interação entre fregueses e feirantes, mas, também por favorecer um ambiente importante, que pode ser utilizado para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem das matemáticas. 2023-03-13T21:50:34Z 2023-03-13T21:50:34Z 2023-03-13 Monografia PEREIRA, Aline de Sousa.
