This work has as general theme the contributions of women to science, in particular, it
observes technical aspects in the field of Mathematics, but also, it is concerned with values
aspects of the woman for the society. The guiding question was written as follows: How to
plan a math class supported by the contributions of Maria Gaetana Agnesi? The main
objective is to construct a didactic proposal to teach mathematics from its contributions.
Methodologically the work was structured in terms of bibliographical research, through which
three organizational phases were defined that allowed: to discuss the struggle of women in
society, the life and work of Maria Gaetana Agnesi and the construction of a didactic
proposal. As a final result, a didactic proposal for the teaching of the Agnesi Curve is
presented, considering historical and also formative aspects for teachers of mathematics in the
sense of recognition of the dignity of women. |
