The training of the students of the Degree in Mathematics for the work with visually impaired
students, from the Federal University of Tocantins, university campus of Araguaína-TO, is
the center of our work. The problematizing question was outlined as follows: How to foment
the initial formation of mathematics teachers for the didactic work with visually impaired
students from the Pedagogical Project of the Degree in Mathematics? The general objective
was expressed in terms of proposing actions that enrich the training of students of the course
for teaching with the visually impaired. The established methodology was of a bibliographic
nature. As main result, a course proposal was elaborated for the Course, whose content
articulates theoretical and practical issues that derive from Mathematics Education and
Inclusive Education. |
