The environmental thematic always has space to be discussed in school and academic
environments. It happens because it is a complex theme and is constantly in the media.
Therefore, the present project had as goal to investigate about the formation and
conceptions relating to the environmental theme and the garbage of the graduatings in
Biology and Chemistry of the Federal University of Tocantins, Campus Araguaína.
Data collection was done through a questionnaire and the analysis was qualitative.
Thereby, it was possible to perceive that the investigated individuals do not feel
prepared to work with this theme in Basic Education and often treat the subject
superficially. This shows that there is a need to invest efforts to these individuals leave
the university prepared to direct studies which lead students to develop critical
judgment about environmental issues and make choices for a sustainable way of life. |
