Therefore, the present project had as goal to investigate about the formation and conceptions relating to the environmental theme and the garbage of the graduatings in Biology and Chemistry of the Federal University of Tocantins, Campus Araguaína. Data collection was done through a questionnaire and the analysis was qualitative. Thereby, it was possible to perceive that the investigated individuals do not feel prepared to work with this theme in Basic Education and often treat the subject superficially. This shows that there is a need to invest efforts to these individuals leave the university prepared to direct studies which lead students to develop critical judgment about environmental issues and make choices for a sustainable way of life. A temática ambiental sempre tem espaço para ser discutida nos ambientes escolares e acadêmicos. Tal fato se dá por ser um tema complexo e estar constantemente nas grandes mídias. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar sobre a formação e as concepções a respeito da temática ambiental e o lixo dos licenciandos em Biologia e Química da Universidade Federal do Tocantins, campus Araguaína. A coleta de dados foi feita através de questionário e análise foi de cunho qualitativo. Com isso, foi possível perceber que os sujeitos investigados não se sentem preparados para trabalhar com esse tema na Educação Básica e muitas vezes tratam o tema de maneira superficial. Isso mostra que há uma necessidade de investir esforços para que esses sujeitos saiam da universidade preparada para direcionar estudos que levem os alunos a desenvolver o senso crítico a respeito das questões ambientais e realizar escolhas em prol de uma vida mais sustentável. 2023-03-24T18:34:20Z 2023-03-24T18:34:20Z 2023-03-24 Monografia SOUSA, Rejiane Gonçalves de.
