Due to the lack of knowledge of a large part of the people about the formation of the
Cooperative Management course, this article seeks to show the levels of interaction
between the course of the Federal University of Tocantins and the social actors and
cooperative institutions of the local community, in which it is inserted. It also seeks to
examine how the community knows about the existence of higher education in the
area of cooperativism and its importance, considering the institutions and social
actors of the municipality of Araguaína - TO. It is an exploratory research that, in
order to meet the proposed objectives, was divided into two phases: documentary
research and data collection, using the Venn Diagram technique, questionnaires and
semi-structured scripts. The main results show that there is interaction of the course
of the Federal University of Tocantins with institutions and local social actors, but that
the partnerships made are not formalized. It is also noted that the Technologist
course in Cooperative Management still has little visibility, but it proves itself
important for the society and economy. It is also noted that the need of the
Pedagogical Project of the Course needs to go through some updates to meet the
demands of the current context. |
