The first part of the internship was carried out at the Francisco Edilberto Uchoa Lopes University Veterinary Hospital, in São Luís, Maranhão, during the period from August 15 to September 27, 2022, under the internal supervision of Dr. Luana Madureira. The second part of the internship was carried out at the Public Veterinary Hospital in Taguatinga, in the Federal District, during the period from September 28 to October 27, 2022, under the internal supervision of Dr. Lindiene Samayana. Both internships were carried out under the guidance of Professor Dr. Maria de Jesus Veloso Soares and totaled 390 hours of workload. During this period, 407 consultations, 89 surgeries and 73 returns were followed in dogs and cats in the areas of medical and surgical clinic. This report aims to describe the activities developed, such as consultation follow-up, vaccinations, collection of biological materials, hospitalizations, outpatient procedures, emergencies and surgeries, describing the routine of clinical care and surgical procedures performed during the internship period. In addition, this report addresses the case of an 11-year-old male, non-neutered, mixed-breed dog, weighing 9 kg, with a diagnosis of bilateral perineal hernia treated at the Public Veterinary Hospital of the Federal District. O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado foi realizado em duas unidades distintas. A primeira parte do estágio foi desenvolvida no Hospital Veterinário Universitário Francisco Edilberto Uchoa Lopes, em São Luís, Maranhão, durante o período de 15 de agosto a 27 de setembro de 2022, sob supervisão interna da Drª Luana Madureira. A segunda porção do estágio foi realizada no Hospital Veterinário Público em Taguatinga, no Distrito Federal, durante o período de 28 de setembro a 27 de outubro de 2022, sob supervisão interna da Drª Lindiene Samayana. Ambos os estágios foram realizados sob orientação da professora Drª Maria de Jesus Veloso Soares e totalizam 390 horas de carga horária total. Neste período foram acompanhados 407 consultas, 89 cirurgias e 73 retornos em cães e gatos nas áreas de clínica médica e cirúrgica. O presente relatório almeja descrever as atividades desenvolvidas, como acompanhamento de consulta, vacinações, coletas de materiais biológicos, internações, procedimentos ambulatoriais, emergências e cirurgias, descrevendo a rotina de atendimentos clínicos e procedimentos cirúrgicos realizados durante o período de estágio.
