The Mandatory Supervised Curricular Internship was conducted under the supervision of veterinarian Emerson Fernandes de Faria, a professional responsible for managing business related to the production and sale of bovine embryos, with the company Pecplan ABS, located in the municipality of Xinguara-PA, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Jorge Luís Ferreira. The internship took place from January 6 to May 27, 2020, totaling a workload of 784 hours. Activities were carried out in the area of bovine reproduction in properties located in the states of Pará, Tocantins, and Maranhão. Among the activities developed, those related to field activities stand out, represented by evaluation of donors and recipients of bovine embryos, diagnosis of pregnancy guided by ultrasound, follicular aspiration, and embryo transfer. The supervised curricular internship is of paramount importance for the professional training of the academic in the undergraduate course in veterinary medicine, as it helps the student expand theoretical and practical knowledge and also provides the development of a critical and professional sense, directing him to approach the reality of the labor market.
