The curriculum supervised mandatory occurred from October 23 to December 20, 2013 in branch office In Vitro Brazil , located in Xinguara - PA to 344 hours and was performed in embryo production laboratory under physician supervision Rodrigo Mendes Untura veterinarian . The area of concentration stage was the Animal Production and Reproduction , focusing on the in vitro production of bovine embryos . During the stage was accompanied stages of embryo production process , in vitro maturation ( IVM) , in vitro fertilization ( IVF ) and in vitro culture ( IVC ) , as well as follicular aspiration ( OPU ) and embryo transfer (ET .) The laboratory consists of a reception room, study, suction , sterilization room, embryo production room and stock room . The in vitro embryo production (IVP ) is an important tool to accelerate genetic gain of cattle . The objective of the course was mandatory supervised deepen the knowledge acquired at the university with the day to day stage .
