The binding curricular stage aimed to search the consolidation of theoretical and practical learning obtained during graduation, the improvement of knowledge regarding clinical and surgery of small animals, the development of diagnostic reasoning, and monitoring of routine practice and experiences in order to complement the training. Was conducted at the Veterinary Hospital of the School of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (HV-EVZ), Federal University of Goiás (UFG), located Campus II - Fern, Goiânia / GO, under the supervision of the Veterinary Medical Dr. Patricia Lorena, in the period from 3 December 2014 to 16 March 2015, in the area of Medical and Surgical Clinic of small animals being fulfilled workload of 345 hours. The training were allowed to play services the anamnese and in the areas of medicine clinical and surgery of small animals, which were followed in 166 cases, including medical and surgical, watching the residents of each sector, beyond Veterinarians Hospital. The trainees were allowed to interview, physical examination, collection of material for laboratory examination, and when necessary applying medicines to treated animals. This paper reports the activities performed during the stage mandatory, thus as two cases reported esophagotomic toracic and virus cinomose.
