Homelessness is a structural and historical fact of humanity, even though it is one of the great indicators of social and economic inequalities it is commonly noticed in the world. From the smallest to the biggest cities, homelessness and misery are common. Palmas, no different from the world scene, also has this population that is little seen, however it has increased, especially with the arrival of Venezuelan immigrants who seek Brazil as a refuge for the economic situation that they live in their country of origin. The large urban voids shelter these people overnight and demonstrate that the homeless situation is not automatically linked to the land issue, but rather to the lack of opportunity for social reintegration. In an attempt to overcome the problems presented, this work consists of developing an architectural proposal capable of creating a space at the service of the population, and contributing to the personal, social and economic restructuring of homeless people in Palmas. A transit house, designed with regional techniques, which aims, in addition to sheltering, dignifying and bringing notions of identity and belonging to these people, raising awareness and providing support for the street situation, the demands of hygiene, health, food, education and work. It is necessary to understand and deal with homelessness in Palmas, which, although embryonic in a young city, already presents problems found in secular cities
