The present work has as its object of study the evaluation of teaching work according to
the understanding of principals and pedagogical coordinators of the municipal schools
of Nazaré - TO. The objective is to identify the teaching performance evaluation
process in the municipality of Nazaré from the questions and conditions that the school
offers to the teacher. Recognize the needs of evaluating the teacher's work and estimate
in what situation the assessment of teaching performance can discourage or make the
teacher's work painful. In addition, we seek to analyze the teacher's performance in the
organization and management of the school, explaining what is necessary to participate
in school management and also highlight the understanding of managers about their role
in assessing teaching performance. For the development of the research, we use
interviews with directors and pedagogical coordinators of the municipality of Nazaré. It
was found that the evaluation of teaching performance is present by verifying how the
teaching work is defined, if the teacher is doing a good job, if it is possible to measure
this individual or collective teaching performance from the process of pedagogical
follow-up at the school. It is estimated that this work will contribute to the
understanding of the teaching work through the Municipal Directors and Pedagogical
Coordinators. |
