The training course was held at FF Consultoria Pecuária, in Marabá, in the
state of Pará, from August 13 to October 26, 2018, in the area of production,
reproduction and nutrition of large animals. During this period, field activities such as
the use of fixed-time artificial insemination protocols, reproductive evaluation in
heifers and cows, diagnosis of manual transrectal gestation or with the aid of
ultrasonography in heifers and cows, collection of bull semen and collection of
material for diagnosis of brucellosis. In addition, it was possible to observe the
importance of nutrition for the beginning of the reproductive activity of heifers and to
obtain good reproductive indexes in cows, based on their body score. In the
laboratory, located in the FF consulting and cattle ranch, brucellosis and andrological
examinations were carried out. In the office was made the commercialization of
semen of Semex® and products of Bellman® for nutrition of cattle.
