The present research intends to analyze how the discussions of cultural diversity and ethnicracial relations appear in the textbooks of the 5th year of elementary school. Focusing on the
theme of cultural diversity and ethnic-racial relations in the textbook for the 5th year of
elementary school, the purpose of this article is to verify whether the textbook adopted in
municipal schools in Miracema includes content about cultural diversity and ethnic-ethnic
relations. and make a survey of how many 5th grade schools there are in Miracema. In view of
this, to carry out a study of the laws that deal with the theme addressed in this work, considering
that it is necessary to recognize the school as a space where differences are evidenced with more
emphasis and this needs to be worked on. Thus, as educators, we must be aware of
discriminatory practices, cultivating a relationship of respect and appreciation in the school
environment. A brief analysis of the textbook adopted in the municipal schools of Miracema do
Tocantins was carried out, with a bias in the theme of cultural diversity and ethnic-racial
relations. We observed that there is still much to be done in relation to discussions, as textbooks
exclude these topics. |
