Brazil has established itself as the country with the largest application of breeding biotechnologies in bovines in the world, being considered the largest in vitro embryo producer responsible for 85% of production. This highlight is due to the fact that the country is the main exporter of beef and has the largest commercial herd in the world, where the North has the second largest Brazilian herd. Currently many researches are being carried out with the aim of maximizing in vitro production by improving the production rate and quality of embryos, for which many protocols with different culture media and times are widely explored. In addition other factors are indicated as influencers in the results such as: the effects related to the bull, the effects related to the donor and the effects of the transport of these oocytes. Due to this, this work has as objective to make an approach on the in vitro production of embryos describing its aspects, techniques and the factors that imply in obtaining good results, in addition, to expose the development of the technique in the state of Pará. A produção in vitro de embriões vem se destacando no mercado da pecuária mundial por possibilitar a seleção e multiplicação de animais geneticamente superiores e aumentar o número de nascimentos por fêmea. O Brasil firmou-se como o país de maior aplicação de biotecnologias da reprodução em bovinos no mundo, sendo considerado o maior produtor mundial de embriões in vitro responsável por 85% da produção. Esse destaque é notado devido o país ser o principal exportador de carne bovina e possuir o maior rebanho comercial mundial, onde deste, a região Norte possui o segundo maior rebanho brasileiro. Atualmente muitas pesquisas estão sendo realizadas com o intuito de maximizar a produção in vitro pela melhoria na taxa de produção e qualidade de embriões, para isso muitos protocolos com diferentes meios de cultivo e tempos são amplamente explorados. Ademais outros fatores são apontados como influenciadores nos resultados tais como: os efeitos ligados ao touro, os efeitos ligados a doadora e os efeitos do transporte destes oócitos. Devido a isto, este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma abordagem sobre a produção in vitro de embriões descrevendo seus aspectos, técnicas e os fatores que implicam na obtenção de bons resultados, além disso, expor o desenvolvimento da técnica no estado do Pará. 2023-09-27T11:51:17Z 2023-09-27T11:51:17Z 2019 Relatório SOUZA, Isadora Afonso de.
