Resumo:
The Obligatory Curricular Training Supervised in Veterinary Medicine was carried out in the Veterinary Anesthesiology area, at the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences, State University of São Paulo, Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Jaboticabal Campus. The same occurred during the period from March 11 to May 24, 2019, with a workload of 8 hours per day, totaling 416 hours, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Newton Nunes, in the area of veterinary anesthesiology. The following medical clinics were attended: Veterinary Hospital, pre anesthetic evaluation of patients, trichotomy, venous and arterial catheterization, preparation of fluid therapy, administration of drugs, endotracheal catheterization, follow-up of patients' anesthetic return, among others. Patients were prepared for surgical exams, imaging, or outpatient procedures. This work aims to describe the local of clinical as well as the casuistry accompaned and report the anesthesia of a female with mitral valve endocardiosis submitted to the surgical procedure of nodulectomy.
