Resumo:
The study aimed to identify the satisfaction of graduates from a Nutrition course in relation to the job market. The research was descriptive and exploratory with a quantitative and qualitative approach. For data collection, a questionnaire consisting of discursive and multi- choice questions was sent to the e-mail address of the graduates, it was supported by 92 participants. About the graduates who joined the survey 28.26% (n = 26) reported dissatisfaction with the area of work due to discontent related to “unsatisfactory salaries”, “professional devaluation” and “few market opportunities”. The subjects judged by the participants as of greater relevance for professional practice were covered by the themes: National School Feeding Program (PNAE), Professional experience by the teacher, Sports Nutrition and Nutrition Management. This background of research presents itself as a response to Universities regarding the training of academics for the job market, helping to promote teaching and structure improvements in the academic curriculum, thus making it possible to identify flaws during graduation
