The work presented here is a requirement of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Work for the Completion of the Course, which is presented in the form of a monograph. The Final Paper – TCC under the title: "Violence against women in the workplace: critical analysis of football from the perspective of harassment" aims to analyze violence against women in the workplace, with emphasis on football. The research discusses the socio-historical formation of Brazil, highlighting the heritage of the patriarchal and
macho culture that contributes to gender inequality inserted in labor relations. The concept of work is highlighted as a key factor in understanding the problems faced by women, specifically in soccer. The research seeks to analyze the issues of sexual harassment, focusing on the cases involving the players of Santos Futebol Clube and the coach Kleiton Lima, cases that were disclosed in journalistic media outlets. The methodology used includes a literature review on the subject, as well as the survey and analysis of data analogous to the cases revealed, in order to analyze the struggles faced by soccer players and the problems of sexual harassment in the workplace. |
