The objective is to reflect on the process of constrution of this imaginary in the light of the historical and social context of the time so powerful that it is still present in the 21st century. The texts under analysis are the records of the sea voyages of Europeans who addressed the discovery of the New World, under an imaginary of abundance and dazzle. As we see in the reports, the pioneers were fascinated with the newly discovered land, where they saw the new Lost Paradise. They thought of him as the new Eden, because they believed that he was blessed by God with pure in habitats, excellent soil fertility, abundant fresh water, vast territories, fruits of various species and exotic beauty. This work aims to analyze how this paradisiacal vision of Europeans for the New World, from its origins to today, more precisely at the opening of the FIFA world cup based in Brazil in 2014. The show "Treasures of Brazil: its people, its nature and football" was created by the Belgian artist for Belgian Daphne Cornez in order to honor the nature of Brazil.
