Referencing the discussion, hypersexualization, gender, identity and memory, this work was based on documentary and oral sources, also aiming at contributing to the Regional history of Tocantins by investigating this problem, which is the hypersexualization of black women through those who are most faced with her throughout her life. O objetivo deste artigo é buscar compreender a hipersexualização através das narrativas de mulheres negras da cidade de Araguaína- To, mais precisamente as acadêmicas do curso de História da Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins-Campus Cimba concernente às formas que esse fenômeno cultural se apresenta e afeta a vida dessas mulheres.
