The objective of this work is to evaluate salinity factors in the surperficial water in the Grotão stream, Bielândia district, municipality of Filadélfia, state of Tocantins in the north region of Brazil between 2022-2023 years. The methodology was initially base on a bibliographic review, environmental characterization of the study area, use of satellite imagens from the Google Earth program, elaboration of maps in QGIS program, water salinity analysis with the determination of the concentrations of chloride (CI) and Sodium (Na) through the equipment of electrical conductivity, as well as of carbonates through the Ca and Mg of water hardness parameters and field work. The procedure to understand the salinity factor in the Grotão stream occurred through collection of water collections and analysis through physical/chemical techniques carried out in the UFNT and Ambientale laboratories. The work addressed the possibility of alternatives to be used in the region through the construction of different types of cisterns with rainwater captation, the use of environmental education since the salinity varies with the type of soil in matrix rock and by the geological formation of the region A salinidade da água é influenciada por diversos fatores tanto naturais como antrópicos que afeta a qualidade dos recursos hídricos para diferentes usos como o consumo humano, agricultura, entre outros. O trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar os fatores da salinidade na água superficial no córrego grotão, distrito de Bielândia, município de Filadélfia, estado do Tocantins na região Norte do Brasil entre 2022-2023. A metodologia teve como base inicialmente a revisão bibliográfica, caracterização ambiental da área de estudo, uso de imagens de satélite do programa Google Earth®, elaboração de mapas no programa QGIS, análise de salinidade da água com a determinação das concentrações de Cloretos (Cl) e Sódio (Na) por meio do apraelho de condutividade elétrica, bem como de carbonatos por meio dos parâmetros de Ca e Mg de Dureza da água e trabalhos de campo. O procedimento em compreender os fatores da salinidade no córrego Grotão ocorreu através de coletas de água e análise de por meio de técnicas físico/químicas realizados nos laboratórios da UFNT e Ambientale.
