This research aimed to identify programs, actions or extension projects that have some degree
of connection with the theme of Intellectual Property (IP) in the course of Law of UFT, Campus
of Palmas. The National Strategy for Intellectual Property (ENPI), provides to evaluate the
possibility of inserting the discipline of IP as mandatory for the courses of Law, Exact Sciences
and as optional in other courses, given the challenges that are presented to society aiming at
new developments, foster the culture of IP in society and its ability to encourage creativity and
innovation. The training and training of human resources in innovation, IP and Technology
Transfer (TT) is provided for in Art. 15-A and Art. 26 of Law No. 10,973/2004 for ICTs
that include teaching among their main activities. Law 13.005/2014 establishes in Goal 12,
Strategy 12.7 the allocation of 10% (ten percent) of the total workload of undergraduate
courses for university extension in a curricular way. Methodologically conducted in the case
study modality, this research is characterized as bibliographic and documentary research of
qualitative approach, descriptive and exploratory research. The results achieved demonstrated
that the course has an approach to IP in discipline programs, in correlation with other areas.
The PDI (2021-2025) of the university includes in its guidelines the stimulus to actions focused
on fostering IP and entrepreneurship policy in order to direct efforts to change strategies and
actions that aim to promote innovation in teaching, research and extension. At the end, it is
suggested the spaces within the pedagogical project that are adequately possible for the
approach of contents related to intellectual property rights, in order to be worked in a way linked
to other legal contents. As the main product, a Conclusive Technical Report (RTC) was created,
which is mandatory and in accordance with the list of acceptable products by the PROFNIIT
program, an article published in a scientific journal, the CANVAS business model and the
SWOT Matrix. |
