This study aims to identify and describe some beliefs and emotions of teachers in training in the initial and final semesters of the degree program in Libras teaching (udergraduate) at the Federal University of Tocantins - UFT. We sought to understand what pre-service teachers feel and believe based on their experiences in the training process. This research characterizes in applied research, of qualitative approach with field research. As for the methodological procedure, it fits into data collection, as a way of approaching the reality to be studied. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire totaling 29 questions between objective and subjective, through the Google Forms platform. The results show that some participants still have beliefs related to libras, being more evident in first semester students, as they are still in the process of discoveries and learning. With regard to emotions, most participants said that at some point they felt afraid to sign, shyness, fear of not being understood and/or not understanding the deaf person.
