We sought to understand what pre-service teachers feel and believe based on their experiences in the training process. This research characterizes in applied research, of qualitative approach with field research. As for the methodological procedure, it fits into data collection, as a way of approaching the reality to be studied. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire totaling 29 questions between objective and subjective, through the Google Forms platform. The results show that some participants still have beliefs related to libras, being more evident in first semester students, as they are still in the process of discoveries and learning. With regard to emotions, most participants said that at some point they felt afraid to sign, shyness, fear of not being understood and/or not understanding the deaf person. O presente estudo tem por objetivo identificar e descrever algumas crenças e emoções de professores em formação dos períodos iniciais e finais do curso de licenciatura em Letras: Libras da Universidade Federal do Tocantins – UFT. Buscou- se entender o que os professores em pré-serviço sentem e acreditam a partir das vivências no processo de formação. Essa pesquisa caracteriza-se em pesquisa aplicada, de abordagem qualitativa com pesquisa de campo. Quanto ao procedimento metodológico se enquadra em levantamento de dados, como forma de se aproximar da realidade a ser estudada. Os dados foram colhidos através de questionário estruturado, com 29 questões entre objetivas e subjetivas, através da plataforma Google Formulários. Os resultados evidenciam que alguns participantes ainda apresentam crenças relacionadas a libras, sendo mais evidente nos alunos do primeiro período, pois ainda estão em processo de descobertas e aprendizado.
