The present work of this research Professional practice of the Social Worker in the prevention of gender violence against women. The General objective analyzes the process of execution of the exclusive attributions of the Social Workers of CREAS in the care of gender violence against women in the municipality of Miracema do Tocantins. The specific objectives are to understand the phenomenon of gender violence against women and its founding theoretical and socio-legal bases; Describe the dynamics of specialized protection in confronting gender violence practiced against women in the social assistance policy (PNAS) / SUAS, developed at CREAS; Evaluate the operationalization of the exclusive attributions of the Social Worker in the specialized care of women victims of gender violence, at CREAS, according to
the regulations of the Political Ethics Project of Social Service. The method of this qualitative research was theoretical and bibliographic, which is an investigation that will analyze the subjective aspect, based on methods, articles, books, magazines. Violence against women is a global problem that affects many women regardless of their religion, age, and education, and that affects both mental and physical health,
which comes from several social, cultural, and historical factors. The monograph covers the expression of the social issue, the cycles, the forms of violence, and the rights of these women who are victims of violence against women, using as reference the Maria da Penha Law No. 11,340/2006, the national social assistance policy, and the special protection policy. Thus, it is concluded that violence can occur in any
space, whether public or private, and can be caused by aggression, emotional harm such as threats, humiliation, insults, coercion, manipulation, and blackmail, which in extreme cases can even cause death. We can observe the complex dimensions caused in the lives of these women, such as their well-being, feelings of fear and guilt, trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, unwanted pregnancy,
suicide, and illness. Therefore, the impact on women's lives is very great, in marital and family relationships. As a social instrument for prevention and confrontation, CREAS serves both families and individuals in situations of neglect, social and personal risk, violation of rights, such as psychological, physical, sexual violence, abandonment and the social worker is one of the professionals qualified to face this refraction of the social issue. |
