This article aims at analyzing the profile and work of sociology teachers in
secondary education by looking at their trajectories, everyday practices,
describing the performance of the sociology teacher in the school environment in
high school, identifying the elements that contribute to their teacher training in
sociology and understanding the methodological procedures of the teacher
related to the social issues of the student. With the support of bibliographic
reference and research with teachers, we have an analysis of how the academic
formation influences the work of the teacher and its relationship with society and
the student, indicating historical and ideological points, pointing out challenges
faced by Social Sciences professionals during their career. Considering as a
study the State School Professor Raimunda Virgolino, with the students of
Sociology and the teachers, it was possible to interview and collect data to
enumerate these facts and to approach the local reality, in order to maintain the
focus in the environment of performance of such professionals and those directly
affected. |
