In the large urban centers of developing countries intensification of rural-urban migration, increasing population density, disorderly urbanization, urban poverty, poor sanitation, inefficiency of public health policies have favored the emergence of arboviruses. The present study aims to analyze the income and population density conditions with the occurrences of Chikungunya fever in Belém do Pará, from 2016 to 2018. The variables were analyzed based on descriptive statistics, from which average were determined. , standard deviation, coefficient of variation, median, minimum and maximum. The temporal analysis identified an increase in the number of occurrences over the evaluated period. Regarding spatial distribution, there is the expansion and maintenance of disease outbreaks in certain neighborhoods. Pearson's correlation found an association between occurrences of Chikungunya fever and the demographic density variable in 2017, which resulted in a weak but significant linear regression.
