Resumo:
This work aims to use a music as an instrument of social inclusion at Conjunto Habitacional Mestre Oscar, through a free school of music that is able to attend a social project of music within the neighborhood. First, we sought to understand urban poverty and its main generator, analyzing, etc., the reality of the housing complexes that are located in urban centers, and as a consequence the lack of goods and services essential to a decent life entails a population. In the event of a discussion about barriers faced by young people living in these situations of risk, until we reach a discussion about a song and its capacity for social transformation. A survey carried out at the Embassy in the bibliographies dealing with such topics, in the application of questionnaires to the residents of the group, in the on-site visits and in the researcher's perception of the subject.
