The adopted methodology was of qualitative and scientific nature, besides the application of the software NI Multisim 14.1 to accomplish simulations of the proposed circuits and of the software AutoCad 2017 to create the electric diagram and the layout of the bench. When developed, it can provide to the students a better understanding of the correction of the power factor and the importance of to have an efficient circuit, where the supplied energy is transformed in useful work, without causing distortions in the feeding net, and consequently, improving the useful life of the equipments installed in the system. After the assembly of the bench, through rehearsals, following the itineraries in the appendix, the students will still go to see in practice as the correction of the power factor it happens in a RLC circuit. O presente trabalho traz como tema “Projeto de uma bancada didática para correção do fator de potência”, objetivando apresentar de forma simplificada, através do projeto de uma bancada didática, a importância da correção do fator de potência em um circuito RLC em corrente alternada, para alunos de engenharia e cursos técnicos profissionalizantes que estudam disciplinas como Circuitos Elétricos. A metodologia adotada foi de natureza qualitativa e científica, além da aplicação do software NI Multisim 14.1 para realizar simulações dos circuitos propostos e do software AutoCad 2017 para criar o diagrama elétrico e o leiaute da bancada. A qual, ao ser desenvolvida, poderá proporcionar aos alunos um melhor entendimento sobre a correção do fator de potência e sua importância para se ter um circuito eficiente, onde a energia fornecida é transformada em trabalho útil, sem causar distorções na rede de alimentação, e consequentemente, melhorando a vida útil dos equipamentos instalados no sistema.
