The main objective of this work is to analyze the state of the art of Behavioral Economics in Brazil from 2000 to 2020, through a systematic literature review. For this, we searched the scientific articles published on the subject, following some pre-established criteria. These articles were collected from the SciELO database and Capes Periodicals, which bring together thousands of scientific publications, in addition to having a wide variety of open access articles. The survey of articles showed a low number of publications, only 17 articles in 20 years, with 41% of these articles in the area of Economics. The research result shows that, despite the increase in the number of articles found in the databases between 2018 and 2019, it is still too early to state that there is a growing trend in the number of scientific publications in the field of Behavioral Economics in Brazil.
