Resumo:
The construction of a health system requires an extended and critical practice. In this process, changes occur that generate concern for the welfare of the health worker. Due to several factors, Community Health Agents are exposed to the specific problems of their working conditions, which need to be identified, to create better strategies that promote their quality of life. This work aims to develop an instrument that allows the characterization of factors of quality of life and factors of the work process that influence the health and disease of Community Health Agents in Santarém - Pará. The instrument was constructed in three stages. First, it was elaborated based on a bibliographical research, that used the database of the virtual library LILACS. Articles were searched with the following keywords: Worker's Health; Quality of life; Community Health Agent, forming a provisional instrument. In the second stage, this instrument was exposed to municipal councilors of health of Santarém to evaluate it and, thus, to improve the instruments. Finally, the considerations made by the health advisors were adhered to, which resulted in the final version of the instruments. The final version of the instrument was divided into four sections. These are: 1) Identification, in this is collected personal data such as gender, race, marital status and age; 2) Food and daily habits, where nutritional information, periodicity of consultation, alcoholism and physical exercise are addressed 3) Characterization of the work process, this section is related to the area of work, time of service, workload and relevant information the function; Finally, section 4) Work and health, which brings together the factors of the work process that directly influence the health of the worker, such as: tiredness, physical exertion and absence of function due to work. It is important that social actors reflect on the theme and establish strategies to promote the quality of life of health professionals, especially the Community Health Agent that forms the link between the population and the health system. Using questionnaires can serve as an indicator in order to optimize job satisfaction and, consequently, improve the quality of life and the provision of services to the population.
