Resumo:
Teaching mathematics using traditional methods in a computeriz ed society became a chore for the teacher , mainly because the influence of education informatiza tion is an irreversible reality . This reality is forcing professionals to rethink about their practice . Change in the attitude of the teacher in relation to traditional teaching became inevitable with the arrival of the computer labs in schools . Therefore, this paper aims to stimulate the math teacher to use educational software t o complement the content taught , facilitating the teaching learning process and making lessons more attractive , creating an environment conducive to educati on that today's society demands . But because of the difficulty of the teacher to implement this ne w technology in the school environment, this work also shows the importance of the use of educational software for teaching mathematics, presents a proposal to the procedures that should be adopted to contribute effectiv ely in implementing the program , fac ilitating learning of the content taught . The proposal was based on what Grando (2000 ) in his doctoral thesis called "Moments of the game" and this work called "Moments of the process which is used Geogebra to show in detail the steps that should be ado pted in software application , so that the teacher understands the importance of the computer in the teaching learning process . But to actually verify that the methodology was effective, the proposal was applied in the 7th grade class and the results were p resented in tabular form. Through the results and testimonials of the students it was concluded that the proposal is satisfactory.
