The music is featured as a great ally and is very useful as a motivating factor for EL lessons. In this sense, the teaching of English language, like the other subjects, needs to have a constant search in providing the intrinsic motivation in the student from a motivation. As noted in the study site the advantages of using music in language teaching, is the accessibility of oral English and pronunciation. With the activities it can be seen that the rhymes allow the students exercises of identification of similar sounds a better understanding and understanding of the EL making it more significant. Este trabalho vem realizar um estudo de campo no que se refere ao uso da música como estratégia de aprendizagem da língua inglesa (LI), para construção teórica foram utilizados os conceitos de micro-habilidade da compreensão oral para a qual foi selecionada uma música relacionada com o conteúdo da aula com a ferramenta cloze definida como o apagamento e a substituição de uma palavra por uma lacuna. A música aparece como uma grande aliada e é muito útil como fator motivador para as aulas de LI. Nesse sentido o ensino de Língua Inglesa, assim como as demais disciplinas, necessita ter uma busca constante em proporcionar a motivação intrínseca no aluno a partir de uma motivação. Conforme observado no local de estudo as vantagens de utilizar a música no ensino de línguas, é a acessibilidade de inglês oral e de pronúncia.
