The publication features articles inspired by life on the streets. What is the power of these wandering narratives (JACQUES, 2012)? This question inspired this master’s thesis. We propose to observe the intersubjective social practices of these homeless journalists and compare our reports to the productions of meaning that are revealed through this experience. To accomplish this, we used the typology of social relations by Schütz (1979; 2012) in order to systematize the reports of experiences obtained through printed materials and semi-structured interviews by some of the project's members. We also propose a dialogue with Lévinas' (1980) ethics of otherness as a cross-sectional basis to raise the hypothesis that the newspaper works as a mirror that can reveal the Face of the Other, a Face that is understood as a path to the exercise of the ethics of otherness. As a methodological procedure, in addition to in-depth semi-structured interviews, we use participant observation, since the author is a volunteer for the project, and content analysis of the texts of the newspaper's copies, in the hope of making a critical interpretation of this homeless initiative in the city. From the appearance of this Face, the paradox of proximity and distance between Same and Other emerges, in which an apparent contradiction is created between Shütz’s intersubjectivity and Levinas’ idea of infinite distance which forbids a reduction to sameness. However, it is through the crossing of this Other that is, at the same time, different and similar to the Same, that the places of each one in everyday life are rethought. In the face of these mirror newspapers, the exercise of the ethics of otherness is revealed, since the recognition of the Other's differences does not exempt the Same from its responsibility towards him, because what is common to all human beings is not lost even in situations of extreme vulnerability. CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior Desde novembro de 2015, a Região Metropolitana de Belém conta com um jornal cujo conteúdo é elaborado exclusivamente por pessoas que vivem ou vivenciaram a situação de rua: o jornal “A verdade rua e crua”. Mas quais as potências das “narrativas errantes” (JACQUES, 2012) expressas nestas páginas? Esta inquietação, ou questão-problema, motivou a proposta desta dissertação de mestrado. Nos inclinamos a observar as práticas sociais intersubjetivas destes jornalistas de rua e apreender seus relatos a fim de perceber as produções de sentido que se revelam por meio desta experiência. Para isso, recorremos à tipologia das das relações sociais de Schütz (1979; 2012) a fim de sistematizar os relatos de experiências obtidos por meio dos impressos e de entrevistas semiestruturadas com alguns dos integrantes do projeto. Tomamos como base transversal a ética da alteridade de Lévinas (1980) para levantar a hipótese de que o jornal funciona como um espelho que pode revelar o Rosto do Outro, Rosto este entendido como o um caminho para o exercício da ética da alteridade. Como procedimento metodológico, além das entrevistas semiestruturadas em profundidade, usamos a observação participante, uma vez que a autora é voluntária do projeto, bem como a análise de conteúdo dos textos dos exemplares do jornal, na expectativa de fazer uma interpretação crítica sobre essa iniciativa da população de rua da Grande Belém. A partir do surgimento desse Rosto, vem à tona o paradoxo da proximidade e da distância do Mesmo para com o Outro, no qual é criada uma aparente contradição entre a intersubjetividade shutziana e a ideia da distância infinita levinasiana seguando a qual a redução à igualdade se torna impossível. Todavia, é por meio do atravessamento deste Outro que é, ao mesmo tempo, diferente e semelhante ao Mesmo, que os lugares de cada um no mundo-da-vida são repensandos. Diante desses jornais-espelhos, revela-se o exercício da ética da alteridade, pois o reconhecimento das diferenças do Outro não isenta o Mesmo de sua responsabilidade para com o ele, uma vez que o que há de humano comum a todos não se perde mesmo em situações de extrema vulnerabilidade.
