The Environmental Risk Prevention Program - PPRA is a mandatory instrument in companies that hire workers in the workplace and aims to preserve the health and life of the employees of a company, providing a healthy work environment. If it is not possible to eliminate the risk to the worker's health or life, a percentage must be paid added to his monthly salary, in addition to high costs with possible indemnities for work accidents. This dissertation presents the reality experienced in practice, through a case study in a concrete artifact industry, where data were collected through a checklist among its collaborators, detecting that before the implementation of PPRA (2001 to 2010), there were a large number of occupational accidents in the company surveyed and, subsequently, with the implementation of PPRA and a Work Safety sector, there was a great change and drastic reduction in occupational accidents, providing a healthy work environment where its employees they can develop their daily work more safely, preserving their life, health and that of their co-workers. The PPRA effectively applied in the company contributed directly to these benefits and improvements, which would
not be possible if such Program remained only in its documentary form, without effective application. |
