Overall, the risk of fire in different kind of buildings is neglected by people who normally believe that an incident will eventually happen just in somebody else`s households. Nevertheless, the risk exists and must be minimized, for this purpose, it is important to apply the correct rules and legislation to each type of building. Therefore, this undergraduate thesis aims to analyse the firefighting and panic project in the present building, taking into consideration the safety and prevention in industrial edifices to verify if the project is in accordance with the current rules and legislation of the Pará State. The methodology applied on this study was based on bibliographic research using a case of study as a guideline, as well as, studies previously done by other authors such as Brentano (2015), Silva (2012) and Camilo Júnior (2013). In addition, the procedures adopted were the same as those already in use by the Military Command of the Fire Department of Pará. Finally, the results have shown that the data presented by the establishment is unsatisfactory, as well as, it was noticed deficiencies in the building project. Consequently, the system analysed in the building will not contribute satisfactorily in case of a fire incident.
