Its rapprochement with the pharmacy and performance in patient care, no longer focusing its actions exclusively on the medication, meant that the dispensing process was understood as an essential action for the promotion of health and the rational use of medications (URM), in addition to including pharmaceutical services, which encompasses a set of actions performed by a pharmaceutical professional. Objectives: To develop a pharmaceutical dispensing booklet in community pharmacies in order to improve pharmaceutical dispensing, as well as guide new pharmaceutical professionals in the commercial pharmacy market. Methodology: The study is characterized by being an analytical descriptive study aiming at the development of a pharmaceutical dispensing flowchart. This consists of showing the drug dispensing process in a safe and coherent way, analyzing all decisions. Results and discussions: The method of care in dispensing medicines and pharmaceutical services in community pharmacies are presented in a flowchart format, aiming to establish a standard method to be adopted in any establishment that performs direct dispensing to the user and guarantee quality of care. Final considerations: Pharmaceutical clinical services develop great attributions for the professional who has theoretical and practical knowledge. Therefore, the provision of pharmaceutical care through the first contact that usually takes place at the time of dispensing requires care and attention, given that in this process, in addition to dispensing, a complete anamnesis with the patient and relevant information regarding education in health, drug interactions and other questions that the patient may have. Therefore, the activity of pharmaceutical care needs to be more effective in a community pharmacy. Introdução: O farmacêutico, atualmente, apresentase como o membro da equipe de saúde de maior acessibilidade e primeira fonte de assistência e aconselhamento em cuidados gerais de saúde. A sua reaproximação da farmácia e atuação na atenção aos pacientes, deixando de concentrar suas ações exclusivamente no medicamento, fizeram com que o processo de dispensação passasse a ser compreendido como ação essencial para a promoção da saúde e o uso racional de medicamentos (URM), além de incluir os serviços farmacêuticos, que engloba conjunto de ações, realizadas por um profissional farmacêutico. Objetivos: Desenvolver uma cartilha de dispensação farmacêutica em farmácias comunitárias visando aprimorar a dispensação farmaceutica, bem como orientar novos profissionais farmacêuticos no mercado da farmácia comercial. Metodologia: O estudo caracterizase por ser um estudo descritivo analítico visando e desenvolvimento de um fluxograma de dispensação farmacêutica. Este consiste em mostrar o processo de dispensação de medicamentos de forma segura e coerente, analisando todas as decisões. Resultados e discussões: O método de cuidado na dispensação de medicamentos e os serviços farmacêuticos em farmácias comunitárias estão apresentados no formato de fluxograma visando estabelecer um método padrão a seradotado em qualquer estabelecimento que realize a dispensação direta ao usuário e garantir qualidade do atendimento. Considerações finais: Os serviços clínicos farmacêuticos desenvolvem grandes atribuições para o profissional que detém de conhecimentos teóricos e práticos. Portanto, a prestação dos cuidados farmacêuticos através do primeiro contato que se dá geralmente no ato da dispensação requer cuidado e atenção, haja vista que nesse processo pode ocorrer além da dispensação a anamnese total com o paciente e informações pertinentes no que diz respeito a educação em saúde, interações medicamentosas e outras dúvidas que o paciente possa ter.
