This study aims to create proposals based on the genre online news as possibilities for expanding the reading and writing proficiency of EJA students. The subjects are language teachers who work in Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The studies are based on research by Bakhtin(2003 [1979]), Bakhtin; Volochínov 2009[1929], Ohuschi (2018), Menegassi (2010), Rojo (2019,2015,2013,2012). The research is applied-based and involves a qualitative approach based on Action Research (Thiollent, 2001). We followed the guidelines proposed by Lopes- Rossi (2008) regarding the pedagogical project of reading and writing of discursive genres. The methodology involved training meetings developed in 4 mini-courses that took place virtually in which theoretical-methodological aspects were worked on, aiming at the elaboration and development of proposals for activities with the genre online news. The results showed that it is necessary to broaden the discussions on Multiliteracies, the continuing education of teachers, and the greater pedagogical and structural investment of schools. These aspects guarantee the access of students and teachers to the technological devices necessary for the work of pedagogical proposals that articulate digital media with the teaching of the online news genre. A presente pesquisa discute o trabalho no ensino da Língua Portuguesa com o gênero discursivo notícia on-line na perspectiva da Pedagogia dos Multiletramentos, e tem por objetivo a criação de propostas, a partir do referido gênero, como possibilidades de ampliação da proficiência em leitura e escrita dos alunos da EJA. Os sujeitos são professores de Língua que atuam na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). Os estudos mobilizados se pautam nas pesquisas de Bakhtin(2003 [1979]), Bakhtin;Volochínov 2009[1929]), Ohuschi (2018), Menegassi (2010) e Rojo (2019, 2015, 2013, 2012). A pesquisa é de base aplicada e envolve a abordagem qualitativa a partir da Pesquisa-ação (THIOLLENT, 2001). Dialoga-se com as orientações da proposta de Lopes- Rossi (2008) quanto ao projeto pedagógico de leitura e escrita de gêneros discursivos. A metodologia envolveu encontros formativos desenvolvidos em 4 (quatro) minicursos, ocorridos virtualmente, nos quais foram trabalhados aspectos teóricometodológicos com vistas à elaboração e desenvolvimento de propostas de atividades com o gênero notícia on-line. Os resultados mostram a necessidade de ampliar as discussões sobre os Multiletramentos, a formação continuada de professores e o maior investimento pedagógico e estrutural das escolas, favorecendo a garantia de acesso a alunos e professores aos aparatos tecnológicos necessários para o trabalho de propostas pedagógicas que articulem as mídias digitais com o ensino do gênero notícia on-line.
