Resumo:
There is a constant need for Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) to adapt to changing contexts and reinvent themselves, mainly to find new mechanisms for raising funds in order to guarantee the continuity of their activities in favor of the social good. In this sense, Social Business represents a hybrid perspective of social impact and financial self-sufficiency. Thus, a systematic literature review was carried out in order to understand the contributions of articles published in the last 10 years on Social Business in the Brazilian context, in addition to the elaboration of a theoretical essay outlining the dimensions of adaptive leadership and relating them to fundraising for a OSFL through social businesses. The review made it possible to outline gaps regarding the expansion of publications on the subject to other regions of Brazil, especially the Amazon region due to its global relevance, in addition to the focus on the environmental aspects of social businesses. When comparing the dimensions of adaptive leadership, a model was obtained in which it is clear that the action of an adaptive leader in an NGO can be a means of changing traditional aspects of the organization to the evolution of fundraising through social businesses.
