The family Solanaceae A. L Jussieu is composed of about 90 genera and 3000 species, with a wide distribution mainly in tropical and subtropical regions of South America and temperate regions. In the Amazon, the Solanaceae are poorly studied and there is a great need for taxonomic studies, especially in restinga areas. This work is a contribution to the knowledge of this family and its objective is to survey the species occurring in the restinga of Praia da Princesa in the Algodoal/Maiandeua APA, Maracanã, Pará. We found the presence of 2 genera and 4 species: Schwenckia americana Rooyen ex Linnaeus L. varo angustifolia Schmidt: tubular corolla, androids with presence of staminodes, included stamens, anthers with dehiscence through longitudinal slits. Solanum campaniforme Roem & Schult. Whole plant glabrous; blade about 10 pairs of lateral veins, margin entire, inert. Solanum paludosum Moric. Apex of the sé pala acute, star trichomes on both faces of the sé pala and petal. Solanum stramoniifolium Jack. Apex of the sepal spatulate, starred trichomes only on the external face of the petal and sepal.
