This project aims to study the phanerogamic flora of the restingas of the state of Pará, since this ecosystem has suffered constant anthropic aggression caused by the opening of roads and real estate expansion. The islands of Maiandeua and Algodoal are part of this ecosystem and are situated in the municipality of Maracanã, at about 00° 34'45" to 00° 34'30" lat. and 47° 31'05" to 47° 34'12" W Gr. The Annonaceae family is represented by the genera Duguetia St. Hill and Annona L., through the species D. echinophora Fries and A glabra L. This study used material collected at the study sites and specimens from the MPEG herbarium. Morphological observations were made with a Zeiss stereomicroscope coupled with a clear camera. The nomenclature used to indicate the shape and indentation of morphological structures was based on the works of Lawrence (1973), Radford et al. (1974) and Rizinni (1977). D. echinoophora, shrub with woody, cylindrical, striated stem with a stellate indumentum; leaves elliptic, alternate and coriaceous, these have a stellate indumentum; isolated flowers. A. glabra, shrub with woody, cylindrical stem, with scabrous indumentum; elliptic, ovate-lanceolate, alternate and coriaceous leaves, with scabrous indumentum; isolated flowers (CNPq/MPEG)
