Engineering is defined as a science that associates mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge to implement or perfect systems from a wide range of fields. However, the practical part or implementation is not reflected in the hours of electrical engineering students at the University Campus of Tucuruí (CAMTUC), equivalent to 7% of the total workload, the time they spend in the laboratory is not enough to acquire practice in their academic formation. Starting from this problem and with the opportunity of internship at Eletrobrás-Eletronorte, a didactic panel was developed at there, to teach areas such as electrical commands, controls and automation. The construction of the didactic panel aims to provide an auxiliary tool to clarify the doubts of interns passing through the OGHTA and also as a tool for self-learning for the technicians of the electrical maintenance sector. The operation of the didactic panel was put to the test in the presentation of the Intern’s Panel, which is an event open to the public, in which two experiments were carried out. In addition to providing this proximity of practical knowledge to the knowledge acquired in the classroom, the process of construction of the didactic panel avoided the discard of devices, since almost all the components used to make them are reused.
