The proposal brings how to approach the sociolinguistics, which enables us to the study of variations language under school. Language in the design of sociolinguistas is intrinsically heterogeneous, in this sense, the language is not used in order homogeneous for all your speakers. The use of a language varies according to the time, region, social class and so on. Depending on the situation, the same individual can make use of different varieties language adapting to each context of communication. When working linguistic diversity, we intend to show that the Portuguese not presents itself uniform throughout the Brazilian territory. Based in thisstudy, we can theoretical assumptions main, Tarallo (1994), the PCNs (1998), Bagno (2002, 2007a, 2007b) and Bortoni-Ricardo (2004) that provide valuable contribution to the teaching of varieties language. Research-actions tarted with observations, implementation of a questionnaire 10 questions objective with order to probe the knowledge of students in relation to the subject, and then intervimos through a workshop with lectures and practices. The practice teaching occurred in two times, November 2017 and December 2018. Search results give the analysis of questionnaires and experience report. O presente trabalho, trata-se de uma prática reflexiva por meio de um relato de experiência, concernente ao ensino da variação linguística em sala de aula com os alunos do 1º ano do ensino médio, do Colégio Estadual Palmira Gabriel de Barcarena-Pará. A proposta traz como abordagem a sociolinguística, que nos possibilita o estudo das variações linguísticas no âmbito escolar. A língua na concepção dos sociolinguistas, é intrinsecamente heterogênea, nesse sentido, a língua não é usada de forma homogênea por todos os seus falantes. O uso de uma língua varia de acordo com a época, região, classe social e assim por diante. Dependendo da situação, um mesmo indivíduo pode fazer uso de diferentes variedades linguísticas adequando-se a cada contexto de comunicação. Ao trabalhar a diversidade linguística, pretendemos evidenciar que a língua portuguesa não se apresenta uniforme em todo o território brasileiro. Baseado nesse estudo, temos como pressupostos teóricos principais, Tarallo (1994), os PCNs (1998), Bagno (2002, 2007a, 2007b) e Bortoni-Ricardo (2004) que oferecem valiosa contribuição para o ensino das variedades linguísticas. A pesquisa-ação iniciou-se com observações, aplicação de um questionário com 10 perguntas objetivas com intuito de sondar os conhecimentos dos alunos em relação ao assunto, e em seguida, intervimos por meio de uma oficina com aulas teóricas e práticas. A prática docente ocorreu em dois momentos, novembro de 2017 e dezembro de 2018.
