Resumo:
The article analyzes the socio-cultural context of women who practice family farming in the Uriboca neighborhood, in the municipality of Marituba, in the State of Pará, observing the impacts caused by the CPTR-Marituba sanitary landfill. The research is centered on the analysis of experiences and memory of women working in gardens based on family farming, highlighting their ways of life and work, as well as the forms of legitimation that REVITA used to install CPTR-Marituba. It was sought to observe the changes that occurred in the landscape due to the implementation of the sanitary landfill, which establishes a dynamic of conflicts and resistance, especially with regard to the perspective of the farmer in relation to the future. Methodologically, the work is anchored in semi-structured interviews, bibliographies on the subject, newspapers, Marituba City Council Minutes and EMATER document.
