Computer manufacturers and electronics generally are marketing a large number of devices across the country, and end up conquering their consumers with ever better technologies. The point is that people do not have information on the impact these materials cause on the environment when discarded incorrectly. The correct way is to take these equipment to a collection point as an authorized service center of the manufacturer or even to a sales store. For this reason, the study addresses the management of computer materials in general in the City of Belém, State of Pará, and evaluates how private and non-governmental institutions are collaborating in the collection and collection of these materials. The recycling of electronic materials is fundamental, and, contributes to the preservation of the environment. The literature review covered aspects related to: technological impacts, cells and batteries, cell phones, recycling, awareness, legislation for disposal and ways to sustainability. There was a lack of knowledge of reverse logistics, lack of initiatives for disposal in work environments, little care in the verification of the environmental responsibility of manufacturers, among others. In order to guide the population, an Android application was developed for use in the awareness of electronic waste disposal. In this work, these questions are addressed, having as target audience, university students of the UFPA courses in the area of Computation, Campus Belém. |
