Resumo:
The article aimed to analyze educational policies for the training of secondary school students in Abaetetuba / Pa. The research is qualitative, using the following data collection instruments: semi-recorded interviews, questionnaires and focus groups with the high school students. Its development was an attempt to take a training class for young people with some possibilities of preparation for the world of work and the possibility of continuing the studies, after that it was possible to observe with the students the same is fulfilling with the role that he it was proposed. The authors were in the research were Krawczyk (2014), Nascimento (2015), Caldart (2014). The results point to a high school level in the researched school, when one takes into account what the students score during the interviews, the same is not being done for the job market nor to enter the university. On the other hand, students understand their importance in their academic and professional training. However, the challenges of synchronizing as student realities in the implementation of educational policies present themselves as a distant reality.
