We wish trough this researches about deaf people living in Soure. o presente artigo apresenta o contexto socioeducacional dos surdos no município de Soure. O objetivo principal deste trabalho foi relatar informações sobre o contexto socioeducacional dos surdos residentes neste município. Este estudo aborda também a necessidade do surdo adquirir e entrar em contato com sua língua para se comunicar com eficiência, mostrando assim a importância da linguagem. Os resultados mostraram a verdadeira realidade que o surdo está inserido, perceber assim as desigualdades sociais e educacionais.
